Warri: National Convener for OBiDient for Sheriff, Comr. Elvis Ekrakpoariemu Ogbevire has stated the group's readiness to embark on a one million Man walk across major streets in Delta State to thank Deltans for their overwhelming support and vote for Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Delta State Governor-elect.
Comr. Elvis Ogbevire made this known at a Press briefing at PTI Conference Centre, Effurun in Uvwie LGA of Delta State.
Comr. Elvis Ogbevire who is also the National Youth coordinator, ObiDatti Support Group, Nigeria & Diaspora
told Journalists that plans are already in advance stage to commence the one million man walk to appreciate Deltans for voting massively for the PDP candidate, Sheriff Oborevwori.
"The struggle for the emancipation of the Nigeria youth is a continuous process. That is why we were fully involved in deciding who should take over the realms of leadership in the Nigeria" he stated.
"Now that we have achieved 60% of youth inclusion in politics by voting youth friendly candidates across board, we deemed it necessary to go round and appreciate Deltans. To tell the youth, women, aged parents "thank you" for voting Sheriff Oborevwori and other PDP candidates"
When asked how he intend to mobilize a million youth considering the financial implications, the vocal youth leader said "One thing you should know is that we are gradually changing the narrative in political participation. A time will come when money will no longer define political direction. We believe so much in making Nigeria the envy of other Nations and we are pulling resources together to achieve this. I have been spending my personal money and will continue to do so until we are liberated" he stated.
