WUEDA Will Give Warri & It's Environs The Long Awaited Face Lift ~ Godwin Ejinyere
The Director General of Warri, Uvwie and Environs Special Area Development Agency, WUEDA, Hon. Prince Godwin Eguriase Ejinyere on Friday 6th October, 2023 during the Agency's budget defence in Asaba the Delta State Capital stated that WUEDA will give Warri and it's environs the needed facelift in line with the MORE agenda of Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori.
Ejinyere told the Delta State Commissioner for Economic Planning, Mr. Sunny Ekedayen and his team that the provisions of the Agency's budget were to enable the interventionist Agency give Warri, Uvwie and their environs the long awaited face lift, in line with the More Agenda of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevbori.
Prince Ejinyere who spoke with newsmen after the budget defence said the exercise was a platform for the Agency to reprioritize its needs and focus on its benefits to Deltans, especially those resident in the Oil City.
Ejinyere said he would ask for more funds when the need arises to enable him help in achieving the More Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
In his remarks, the Delta State Commissioner for Economic Planning, Mr. Sunny Ekedayen commended the WUEDA Director General for the defense, urging him to use the instrumentality of government to set up a Task Force to flush out revenue touts who masquerade as government employees to extort money by force from unsuspecting residents of the mandate areas of the Agency.
Mr. Ekedayen stated that his Ministry would assist the Agency to carry out its developmental functions and be able to meet the needs and yearnings of residents of Warri, Uvwie and their environs.
