Prominent PDP Chieftain in Delta State and Member, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Philo Ededey has described Atiku's emergence at the just concluded PDP Presidential Primary as a victory for democracy.
Philo Ededey who is also the National Director/Coordinator of Delta Dynamic Support Group For Atiku stated this at the venue of the Presidential Primary in Port Harcourt, Rivers State while speaking with SureNews correspondent.
While congratulating Alhaji Atiku for his resounding victory, Philo Ededey called on other aspirants to join hands with Atiku to ensure victory for the party in 2019.
"Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the only person that has the means and political clout to withstand the tyrannical reign of President Buhari. He's widely accepted among the youths, women and the political class in Nigeria"
When asked if Former President Olusegun Obasanjo will support Atiku's candidature, she said "Obasanjo was fully involved in ensuring Atiku's emergence during the primary. Atiku said it himself while giving his victory speech. If we must send Buhari out of Aso Rock come 2019, everyone must join hands with PDP and Atiku to do it and I can assure you Obasanjo will be part of this great revolution that's about to take place in Nigeria political space" she stated.
The PDP Chieftain also called on Deltans to rally round and support Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for a second term in 2019.
