• The Speaker Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has vowed to continually put the interest of Okpe first when re-elected to represent the good people of the constituency in the forthcoming general elections in the State.

• Oborevwori stated this today Monday 14, January 2019 during the Okpe PDP Campaign visit to Ward 7 and parts of Ward  of the LGA. 
• 
  
• Addressing a mammoth crowd of party faithfuls, women, youth and elders at Eroghor, Ekokor 1 and 2, Oborevwori called on them to collect their Voters card and come out on election day to cast their votes for all PDP Candidates, promising to provide efficient and effective representation when re-elected. 
• 
  
• "I will continue to attract more dividends of democracy to Okpe constituency" he said.
• 
  
• The campaign train was led by Father of Government and one time Minister of Information, Prof. Sam Oyovbaire accompanied by other notable PDP Chieftains in Okpe LGA.
• 
  
• Communities visited include Eroghor, Ekokor 1, Ekokor 2, Mereje, Egborode, Ijorogu, Otomewo, Okuokolo and Okuovo.
