Updated: A prominent Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Uvwie LGA of Delta State, Hon. Amos Osigidi has applauded the Honourable Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo for standing up against those he described as enemies of the poor suffering masses in Nigeria.
Hon. Amos Osigidi made this statement recently while speaking with Journalists at his country home in Effurun headquarters of Uvwie Local Govt. Area of Delta State.
Reacting to the face off between the Minister and some members of the NASS, Osigidi warned those who are bent at frustrating the good works of President Buhari to desist from it or be ready to face the masses.
"It is not business as usual. These people have taken the masses for granted for too long. This is the time to correct such anomaly in our system. I want to sincerely thanked the Honourable Minister for his doggedness, patriotism in fighting for the poor masses"
"This singular action by the Minister in standing against oppression and hijacking what is meant for the people is a testimony of what runs in our blood as Urhobos and Deltans at large" he noted.
"I want to appeal to the Hon. Minister not to be intimidated or succumb to the antics of the law makers as Nigerians are solidly behind him" he stated.
