Edewor Foundation Reiterates Commitment to Youth Development
Edewor Foundation, a non-profit organization has reiterated it's commitment toward youth development in Africa saying the Foundation would open up channels and create youth development centres.
This was made known by the founder of the Foundation, Prof. Rollison Edewor at the maiden Youth Development/Quiz Competition organized by the Organization held recently in Effurun, Delta State
Rollison Edewor who was represented by the Director of Finance & Administration of the NGO, Stanley Efe said the quiz Competition was part of efforts to encourage youth in their educational pursuits & leadership development skills.
"Edewor Foundation eagerness to reach out to humanity is evident in various acts of charity carried out by the foundation over the years especially in the area of adult literacy & youth development"
Popular Cleric, Bishop Edosa Edobor Okoro of Abundant Life Int'l Church while speaking called on the youth to always strive for excellence in whatever pursuit they find themselves.
"You don't need to travel Overseas before making it in life. You can make a difference right here and the world will celebrate you"
Renowned Warri based Educationist, Llyod Okoro Tekule admonishes the youth to always imbibe the "I can do it" spirit. According to him, "a Man that has the I can do it spirit is unstoppable. Nobody can hold back such a Man"
University Don, Dcn. Oghogho Peter (Ph.D) urges the youth to always keep hope alive and take their studies seriously.
"The most important thing you can do for anybody is to educate them. Education can expose and open doors for you. I call on you today to open up your mind and embrace this initiative of Edewor Foundation. Go out there and be an ambassador, inspire other youth, align yourself with God's word and start re-programming your life toward achieving a brighter future.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of cash prizes to the winners of the quiz/Bible recitation Competition.
