UAC donates Educational Materials to Edewor Foundation

A group known as Urhobo Active Club (UAC)  has donated educational and writing materials to Edewor Foundation to boost their Adult Literacy Centres in Ugborhen, Okuovo and Ijakpa-Elume communities, Sapele LGA of Delta State, Nigeria. 

In a statement released to our correspondent, the 
Founder of UAC, Ri Iyovwaye said the gesture is in line with the Group's mission to contribute toward the upliftment of Urhobo land through commerce/business and philanthropy

"We are making this donation in accordance with UAC's mission to contribute to the up-liftment of Urhobo people" he noted. 

While presenting the materials to Edewor Foundation, UAC Representative,  Christopher Iledjena commended the NGO for  this bold initiative aimed at transforming the lives of rural dwellers through the establishment of adult literacy centres. 

"UAC is delighted their donation has been accepted by Edewor Foundation as a contribution to the worthwhile cause of adult education in Urhobo land" he stated. 

Founder of Real Omote (School No Be Scam), Igho Smith task students of the literacy centres to take their studies serious, stressing that Education remains the surest way to achieving any heights in life in this 21st century. She encouraged them to strive for educational excellence not minding their age, gender. 

Edewor Foundation through its Founder, Prof. Rollison Edewor while calling on other NGOs and public spirited individuals for partnership, also commended Mrs. Palace Egbeide OGBEIDE, Sheri Holder and Urhobo Active Club for their donations and support.
