Rave International Charity Foundation 2nd Year Anniversary: The Journey so far
October 27th, 2018, an International NGO known as Rave International Charity Foundation was formally launched in the oil city of Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.
Speaking during the official opening/launching ceremony, the Founder of the NGO, Mrs. Naomi Emete Fagbuyi stated that the NGO will focus more on educational drive, initiatives targeted at making education free and accessible to all pupils in public primary schools across African by providing learning materials like books, textbooks, school bags, sandals, uniforms and other learning aids to pupils. She also noted that the NGO will also help in the renovation of dilapidated classrooms and other initiatives aimed at making free education for all a reality irrespective of social class, background etc.
Today, October 27th, 2020 makes it exactly two (2) years since Rave International Charity Foundation (aka Rave HQ) came into existence. Despite the challenges & misconceptions, Mrs. Naomi Fagbuyi and her team of dedicated, selfless volunteers have continued to impact on lives positively through the provision of learning materials to some public primary schools in Delta State, Nigeria. Schools visited and have benefited from the NGO's activities so far include;
* Esedo primary school, Effurun.
* Okotogbo Primary school (formerly Ogbe primary school) Effurun.
* Alegbo primary school, Effurun
* Ekrerhawen primary school,
*Adane-Okpe primary schools, Orerokpe
* Ajanesan Primary School, Oghara-efe
* Ogelle Primary School, Ughelli.
* Okotie-Eboh Primary school 1, Sapele (Viral little Miss Success School)
* Ijakpa Primary School, Effurun
In all these schools visited, Notebooks, School sandals, bags, pencils were freely distributed to the pupils to encourage learning.
Rave International Charity Foundation Volunteers lead by the Founder, Mrs. Naomi Fagbuyi also visited three (3) General Hospitals in Delta State (Agbarho, Ekpan and Warri General Hospitals) where they distributed pampers and other sanitary items to Mothers who just gave birth to babies at the various wards. This was done to celebrate motherhood as part of Mothers Day celebration in 2019.
At the peak of the dreaded covid-19 (corona virus) outbreak and lockdown across the world. Rave International Charity Foundation provided food palliatives to hundreds of families who could not afford basic food items like Garri, Rice, Beans, Noodles, Oil etc for sustenance. The NGO's food bank outreach team visited towns like Warri, Koko, Orhuwhorun (Udu), Oghara, Agbarho and Ughelli (all in Delta State, Nigeria) with food palliatives, facemasks & sanitizers.
Rave HQ in collaboration with D. A. Momoh Foundation also visited Edo State with food palliatives for the aged and needy ones. Over 200 families were provided with food stuffs to cushion down the effects of the lockdown/covid-19 pandemic.
In August, 2020, Rave International Charity Foundation in conjunction with White Worship Foundation came out with "Lagos State Food Outreach" programme where both NGOs visited the Ajah axis of Lagos State with food items like Rice, Beans, Noodles, Garri, Oil, Maggi and also provided Facemask and Sanitizers to the needy ones, especially the aged.
Mrs. Naomi Fagbuyi is more than ready to give back to society. She's at the forefront championing the call for good governance in Nigeria and other Countries in Africa. As Rave HQ marks her 2nd year Anniversary, she's calling on International donors, good spirited Nigerians, corporate bodies, NGOs, religious body etc to join hands with her to make our society a better place for all.
